FAQ Fiesta NMDA 2024
Registration
Do I need to register to attend the Fiesta NMDA Hybrid Event?
Yes. You will register for Fiesta NMDA in the same way you registered last year. If you’ve attended a previous NMDA event, your information will be stored in the system.
I don't remember my user name and I'm not a dentist. What do I do?
If you are not a dentist and you have attended an NMDA event in the last few years, use the username and password you used previously. Typically, your user is your email, but you can click "Forgot Username" if you need to. If you don’t remember a password, use the "Forgot Password" link. If this is the first time you have registered for any NMDA event, click on “Nonmember? Create Account” to set up a new account.
My information is different than last year. Should I create a new profile?
Please update your information (workplace, phone, etc) before continuing to register. Do not create a new profile unless you are a first-time registrant for an NMDA event. Please email Susan Pate (spate@nmdental.org) to request a name or email address change.
Can I register my entire office together?
You can register your entire office using the “Add Registrant” button during the registration process. If your dentist is registering, be sure to use their ADA number to access their profile. (Your dentist does not have to be the primary registrant.) Since registrants will have access to the online event as well as the live event, each registrant must provide their own email address.
I'm a dentist. How do I register?
Please use your ADA number to access your profile. If you don't remember your password, click on "Forgot Password" to reset it.
Registration Rules & Guidelines
- The Primary Registrant must be the first name on the registration form. A dentist’s registration is not required for dental team members to register.
- NMDA / ADA 2024 membership must be current in order to pay member prices.
- The registration form is fillable online, or you can download and print it. Please print legibly. Errors will lead to delays in processing your registration. To access the form, please visit www.nmdental.org and click on Fiesta NMDA.
- Early Bird pricing is now through May 12. All registrations received May 13 or later are subject to the regular registration fee.
- Select Registration Type and code for each person registering. Include appropriate fee according to registration date. Be sure to include each registrant’s unique email so they receive their continuing education credits. Please keep a copy of the registration form for your records.
- Registration will not be processed until payment is received in full.
- Ticketed events are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- An Attendee registered as a “Guest” (non dental spouse or child) is not eligible to receive CE credit. Dentists may only register as dentists.

- You will pick up your badge and registration materials onsite starting June 6. Badges will not be mailed out this year.
- Badges must be worn and visible at all times. All functions require this badge for admittance.
- Any individual transferring his/her badge to a non-registrant will have his/her badge confiscated and will be denied admission to the meeting (both in-person and online).

Using the Online Event Platform (Accelevents)
How do I log-in to the Accelevents event website?
After you register, you will be emailed your credentials for accessing the event hub starting on June 6. The email will come from Accelevents (please watch your spam folder). You'll be able to use your credentials for this event for the live portion as well as access to the on-demand videos for up to 30 days after the event.
Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event?
No. You only need to have access to the Internet. We do recommend that you click on “Device Checker” (found on the left side of the event hub) to make sure your connection is optimal and that your VPN/firewall won’t interfere with your viewing. eClasses can be watched, booths can be visited, and contacts made from the app or web page.
How do I log-in to Fiesta NMDA livestream on the day of the event?
Your login details will be emailed to you prior to the event. You can use the link in that email to access both the livestreamed event and to watch on-demand recordings after the event. Your credentials or “Magic Link” will expire periodically, but the email letting you know it is expired will include an option to request a new one. This only takes a moment.
Can our office watch courses together?
In order to give credit to all attendees, each attendee will have to log-in on their own device with their own profile. You may watch together, but only attendees who have logged in with their own profile will receive CE credit.
The timings of the live sessions are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event?
The event will remain open 24/7 for 30 days. You can attend whenever it’s convenient for you during that time.
Will I be able to take away any documents or files from the event?
Yes. Course handouts and exhibitor materials can be downloaded and saved or printed using your local device. Those that attend the meeting in-person will be encouraged to use the mobile app to access handouts.
I’m attending in person. Do I need to download the app?
Be sure to download the Accelevents app even if you’re attending in person! You can use it to connect with friends and colleagues, interact with exhibitors, download documents, and even compete in contests. You can also personalize your profile and make it so people can find you.
Will there be exhibitors at the hybrid Fiesta NMDA?

CE Credits
How will I get credit for the classes I take?
For in-person, you’ll scan your badge as you enter the classroom and the Accelevents platform will log your attendance. If you attend online, the Accelevents platform automatically logs your attendance. An attendance certificate will be sent to the email address you registered with indicating which classes were attended and whether they were live or on-demand.
How do I get credit for virtual attendance?
When you log into your Accelevents account and then view a livestream course or an on-demand recording, your attendance is logged automatically along with the time you spend in that course. No need to look for a code at the end!
How do I get credit if I attend in person?
We will scan the QR code on your badge to check you in to each course.
Will I get my CE credit form in time to renew my license?
Be sure to watch any on-demand videos that you might need for renewal by June 16. Keep an eye the email address you used to register for this event (and your spam folder). We will send a preliminary credit form by June 21. There will be another (final) CE credit email after access to the recorded courses ends in July.
Will the virtual meeting fulfill licensing and certificate requirements?
Yes. Live virtual events count as normal CE hours. If you view the on-demand or recorded courses, they will count as self-study credits.
Do classes I attend via livestream (as the presentation is given) count as “live?”
Yes. “Online” classes generally refer to recorded presentations or self-study classes.
How long after the event can I watch classes?
Anyone registered for Fiesta NMDA will have access to all the recorded classes for 30 days following the end of the meeting.
Can our office watch courses together?
In order to give credit to all attendees, each attendee will have to log-in on their own device with their own profile. You may watch together, but only attendees who have logged in with their own profile will receive CE credit.
